NBC has a new sit-com Bringing Up Fisher which aired for the first time just after the close of the Winter Olympics on Sunday at 9.30pm.

It’s great to have a blind character with a prominent articulate role, but how long do we have to wait  till  the actor playing the blind guy is actually blind?
